As a seasoned creative director/art director I am both able, and very experienced in leading, mentoring and hopefully inspiring creative teams.
The studio under the watchful eye of my manager.
If design is my métier then cycling is my raison d’etre.
A passionate life long rider I have raced, ridden stages of the Tour de France, completed the Londres Paris and raced across The Alps, The Pyrenees and The Dolomites in the Haute Route events.
I firmly believe that some of my best creative ideas come whilst in the saddle. My other interests are motorcycles, cars and skiing.
At the age of seventeen I was rebuilding motorcycles and selling them for a modest profit. In my 30's and 40's I was racing them and regularly stripping them down to service them. I still have a couple in the garage vying for space with the bicycles. I also love my food; I've been known to knock up the odd wild mushroom risotto and a good wine is one of life's great pleasures - try 'Dead Nuts' from California winery Chronic Cellars or Matsu 'El Viejo' from Spain - both seriously good!
Away from bikes and the kitchen I like to delve into a bit of history from Ancient Rome to more modern times but I have particular interest in WWII - it might be something to do with the piece of German shell I inherited from my uncle as a kid - the jagged lump was actually removed from his backside, an injury sustained whilst fighting at the battle of El-Alamein in North Africa.
I'm married to a beautiful and phenomenal wife (she must be to put up with me). We have two sons and a chocolate, Labrador.

“If you feel safe in the area you’re working in, you’re not working in the right area. Always go a little further into the water than you feel you’re capable of being in. Go a little bit out of your depth. And when you don’t feel that your feet are quite touching the bottom, you’re just about in the right place to do something exciting.”
