The requirement for a website to launch Gordon Murray Automotive's (GMA) new supercars came in as a tender. In the winning pitch I demonstrated a full understand of the brands ethos of purity - no extra design flourishes unless they improved performance or ergonomics.
Website Teaser Video Concept
The lines and details of the supercar seen in the images informed graphic shapes and patterns along with a set of icons that directly reference the dials and controls.
An enhanced colour palette was developed and adopted by the wider design team at GMA so well were they received.
Split personality
The website launched two variants of the supercar - T50 and T50s, the latter being more track focussed. This was shown on the launch site as a split road - the track shown on the left and a highway on the right. A rollover mechanism provided top line information on both car variants.
